After Surgery Care

You will awake from surgery with a surgical bra that you will wear at all times for the next couple of weeks. Oftentimes, the discomfort associated with the surgery is actually much less than the initial surgery. Recovery from the surgery is comparable to your prior augmentation, but should be a slightly quicker in all aspects depending on the amount of surgical correction Dr. Stanwix needs to perform. You should limit strenuous activity and heavy lifting for the first 10-14 days after surgery but it is fine to perform most activities of living and walking is encouraged.
